The posture
.
The aikidokas must progressively develop a relaxed posture. He will try to place his center of gravity below the abdomen "seika tanden". It stabilizes the posture and is the support while executing techniques, which permits to use little energy for a maximum efficiency.
In everyday life, this application will permit to increase one's vitality, to sharpen one's senses and to be less vulnerable to the irritability and stress of everyday life.
In Japan, it is said that such a person has a good "Hara" or a good "Ki" (vital energy wich flows freely in the body).
Aikido permits to develop this. The practising individual will lhave a better drive in life.
