Training.
The purpose of practising Budo is to reach a personal transformation and to increase one's personal ability to overcome a difficulty in a situation of conflict, keeping one's wisdom and serenity.
This purpose can be reached in the Dojo (the name of the place of practise) by regularly practising the moments of Aikido wich must constantly be rigorously repeated. Breathing and controling one's body must also be part of the training.
The whole of this study will permit to seize the partner's mouvement, to direct his energy in an other direction with a technique which will make him lose his balance and fall, while remaining well centered and stable.
These techniques are generally learned with a partner (Uke), each one attacking in turn. repearing these movements (Uchikomi) will help assimilating them intellectually as well as physically because. They must impregnate the body wich must feel in osmoses with them so that the execution is fast, instinctive and technical in any situation of attack.
