Takemusu Aïkido: More Basics is the second volume of this comprehensive series presenting the aikido of Morihei Ueshiba O Sensei. This volume covers in exhaustive details the following series of techniques: shihonage, kotegaeshi, iriminage. This work is profusely illustrated with over 500 photos and includes clear, step by step explanations of each technique. Morihiro Saito, 9th dan, is one of aikido's most highly acclaimed teachers and recently celebrated his fiftieth anniversary in the art. He was one of founder Ueshiba's closest students and currently operates Ueshiba's country dojo in Iwama, Ibaragi headquarters, while serving as caretaker of the Aiki Shrine.
