Minoru Mochizuji
was born on April the 7th, 1907 at Shizuoka, Japan. 10th dan of Aikido, 9th dan of JuJitsu, 8th dan of Judo, 8th dan of laido, 8th dan of Katori Shinto Ryu.

Disciple of Master Jigoro KANO (the creator of Judo), he joined the KOKODAN in 1925. He also studied with Master Morihei UESHIBA (Aikido's creator) since 1930.

In November,1931 he founded the Dojo "YOSEIKAN"which was to be rebuilt    after the war in 1950.

In 1951, he joined Japan , delegation for the meeting of the UNESCO in Genevre he gave demonstrations of Judo and Aikido, in Switzerlad, France and Tunis, and then went back to Japan. He taught Judo in France from 1961 onwards.

He created a style composed of elements of judo, aikido, karate, and kobudo that he    named "YOSEIKAN".
He lives in France with his son Hiroo.
