Tadashi Abe was born on 1926, from a wealthy family. His father, who possesed  some mines in Corea, donnated part of his wealth to the Aïkikaï.

Very young, he became Master Ueshiba's disciple. Tadashi Abe was a Marine    Officer with a strong caracter and cold blood.

In 1952 he arrived in France. He participated to the introduction and developpement of Aikido in Europe. His Aikido style was quite martial and rough, and takes him    away  from the Aikikai. His teaching is hard and particularly appreciated by the    judokas, so very much, that many of them converted themselves into Aikido.

Master Abe went back to Japan in 1960

He died on November the 23th, 1984, aged 58.
